INDIAN RECIPE: Saffron Fromage

Ingredients for Saffron Fromage:

  • 250 gm yogurt
  • 250 gm soft cream cheese
  • 110 gm icing sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • Few strands of saffron
  • 10 tbsp hot milk

Directions for making Saffron Fromage:

  • Mix saffron in milk until milk is yellow in color and saffron is partially dissolved. Heat gently, if required.
  • Blend all the ingredients thoroughly and chill.

Variation: For Mango Fromage, add 50 gm mango pulp and 50 gm butter while blending.
