INDIAN RECIPE: Aloo Omelette

Ingredients for Aloo Omelette:

  • 2 eggs
  • potato - 1 small one or half a big one
  • onions - 1 small one or half a big one
  • chilli powder
  • salt
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 tsp oil
  • pepper powder (as required)

Directions for making Aloo Omelette:

For Making Potato Curry:

  1. Splutter mustard, add chopped onions and fry till transparent.
  2. Boil and Mash potatoes and add it to the onions.
  3. Add required amount of chilli powder and salt and let cook for 5 minutes.

For Omelette:

  1. Beat eggs well and add a little salt and the above potato curry. Stir thoroughly.
  2. Heat the Omelette pan and pour the above mixture, sprinkle pepper powder on it.
  3. Turn the Omelette carefully to the other side (do this carefully...if the Omelette is very heavy, you'll not be able to turn it properly). Let cook.
  4. Enjoy your Aloo Omelette. Hope you love this Indian recipe.
