INDIAN RECIPE: Green Mango Chutney

Ingredients for Green Mango Chutney:

  • 750 gm green mangoes
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 100 gm ginger
  • 250 ml vinegar
  • 3 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions for making Green Mango Chutney:

  1. Peel and thinly slice mangoes.
  2. Peel and grind ginger.
  3. Add all ingredients in a saucepan.
  4. Cook gently for 10 minutes or until mangoes are tender, stirring all the time.
  5. Cool and store in airtight jars.
  6. Enjoy your Green Mango Chutney. Hope you love this Indian recipe.

Variation: Peel and finely dice 2 green mangoes. Add 2 tbsp sugar and ¼ tsp red chilli powder. Mix well and refrigerate. Use within 2-3 days.
