Ingredients for Paneer Shahjani:
Paste ingredients (blend together)
- ½ kg onions
- ½ kg tomatoes
- 20g cashew nuts
- 50g garlic
- 50g ginger
- 200g paneer, cut into large cubes
- 50g cream
- 10g cardamom, crushed
- 2g cinnamon, powder
- 5g cloves, whole
- Chilli powder, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Directions for making Paneer Shahjani:
1. Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the paste ingredients until the mixture is dark brown.
Add the paneer cream, cardamom, cinnamon cloves and chilli powder.
Stir fry for a minute over a medium fire and season to taste with the salt. Serve hot.
